Kathleen Blake, MD, MPH is a Senior Research Director at CMTP and leads its efforts in technology policy, public private partnerships and education. A cardiologist with over 25 years of practice experience, she has served as President of the New Mexico Heart Institute, on the Board of the Heart Hospital of New Mexico, and as President of the New Mexico Medical Society. She has been active in health policy issues at the local, state and national levels with a particular interest in physician engagement, quality improvement, performance measurement, longitudinal patient registries, and medical device technology. She completed her undergraduate degree in physics at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, medical degree at the University of Chicago, post-doctoral training at Stanford University, and Master of Public Health degree with a certificate in healthcare finance and management from Johns Hopkins University. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
